Prior to that, he worked for the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA) in the political section of the Embassy of Switzerland in the United States of America and the Embassy of Switzerland in France. He also supported research on financial regulatory authorities whilst working as a research assistant at the University of St.Gallen.
Etienne holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Lausanne, as well as a master’s degree in International Relations/Political Science from the Graduate Institute, Geneva (IHEID). He also took part in two exchange programmes at the Institut d’études politiques de Paris (Sciences Po) and the University of St.Gallen.
Building on his strong background in political science and extensive knowledge of the Swiss political and institutional landscape, Etienne is particularly interested in advising clients on issues related to public affairs.
A native French speaker, he is also fluent in English and has a good understanding of German.
